This personal sized centrifuge is ideal for microfiltration and quick spin downs from the walls and caps of microcentrifuge tubes.

Compact design

Requiring less than six inches of bench space, the Spectrafuge™ Mini is supplied with rotors and adapters to accommodate 1.5 ml, 0.5 ml and 0.4 ml tubes as well as 0.2 ml strips and individual tubes. The standard and strip tube rotors are easily interchanged.

The easy-open, translucent lid utilizes a stainless steel hinge pin for durability. Five different lid colors are available including gray, blue, teal, purple and red.

An on/off switch is located on the side of the Spectrafuge™ Mini for starting and stopping operation. Alternatively, with the switch in the on position, the centrifuge can be started and stopped by closing and opening the lid.

Unscrew a tube out in the direction of an arrow.

Use a swab to take a sample by wiping or moistening.
Avoid a swab contact with any part other than the specimen attentively.

Screw and snap-on a tube tightly in the direction of an arrow till medium falls into a tube.

After confirmation of medium-fallen into a test tube, incubate it with incubator for 24 hours at 35C.

Once incubation is over, interpret it visually by color alteration with following the table of criteria.

After assessment,　rotate a cap quarterly (90°) in the direction of the arrow.



Thrust the cap tightly into the tube to drop the disinfecting solution into the test tube.		Shake the test tube to mix the disinfecting solution with the culture solution. Let it rest for approximately 5 minutes and dispose of it.
