口蹄疫病毒抗原快速檢測試劑盒是一種基於膠體金的定性側流免疫層析法，用於檢測口蹄疫病毒抗原。Abbexa 的口蹄疫病毒抗原快速檢測試劑盒(Foot and Mouth Disease Virus Antigen Rapid Test Kit, abx092115) 基於金免疫層析法測定（gold immuno-chromatography assay , GICA）原理。樣品中存在的任何口蹄疫病毒抗原(Foot and Mouth Disease Virus Antigen)與膠體金顆粒標記(colloidal gold particle-labelled)的口蹄疫病毒抗原抗體(Foot and Mouth Disease Virus Antigen antibody)。當足部集中和樣本中的口腔疾病病毒抗原超過檢出限，出現顏色變化檢測線，結果為陽性。當口蹄疫病毒抗原濃度在樣品溶液小於檢出限，檢測線無顏色變化，結果為negative。
