H7N9 is a subtype of nfluenza virus A. On April 1, 2013, the World Health Organization (WHO) first
reported 3 human infections with a new influenza A (H7N9) virus in China . Since
then, additional cases have been reported. This new H7N9 virus is an avian
(bird) influenza (flu) virus. Influenza (flu) is a respiratory infection in
mammals and birds. The virus is divided into three main types (Influenza A,
Influenza B, and Influenza C), which are distinguished by differences in two
major internal proteins (hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA)). The
influenza viral neuraminidase (NA) protein is a tetramer with an enzyme active
site on the head of each monomer. Subtypes are further divided into strains;
each genetically distinct virus isolate is usually considered to be a separate
strain. NA protein is a second major surface antigen of the virion.
Neuraminidase (NA) cleaves terminal sialic acid from glycoproteins or
glycolipids. Thus, it functions to free virus particles from host cell
receptors, to permit progeny virions to escape from the cell in which they
arose, and so facilitate virus spread.

狂犬病Rabies多株抗體


 


Immuno Technology公司純化狂犬病毒Ectodomain之蛋白質部份,免疫Rabbit誘發產生狂犬病毒多株抗體,其可辨視狂犬病毒之抗原。訂購貨號#IT-009-001 提供200ug1mg包裝抗體容量。


 


狂犬病是由狂犬病毒(Rabies Virus)引起的人畜共患的傳染病。狂犬病毒Rabies virus, RV)屬於彈狀病毒科彈狀病毒屬。外形呈彈狀,核衣殼呈螺旋對稱,表面具有包膜,內含有單鏈RNA。病毒顆粒外有囊膜,內有核蛋白殼。囊膜的最外層有由糖蛋白構成的許多纖突,排列比較整齊,此突起具有抗原性,能刺激機體產生中和抗體。病毒含有5種主要蛋白(LNGM1M2)和2種微小蛋白(P40P43)。L蛋白呈現轉錄作用;N蛋白是組成病毒粒子的主要核蛋白,是誘導狂犬病細胞免疫的主要成分,常用於狂犬病病毒的診斷、分類和流行病學研究;G蛋白是構成病毒表面纖突的糖蛋白,具有凝集紅細胞的特性,是狂犬病病毒與細胞受體結合的結構,在狂犬病病毒致病與免疫中起著關鍵作用;M1蛋白為特異性抗原,並與M2構成細胞表面抗原。

H7N9 is a subtype of
Influenza virus A. On April 1, 2013, the World Health Organization (WHO) first
reported 3 human infections with a new influenza A (H7N9) virus in China . Since
then, additional cases have been reported. This new H7N9 virus is an avian
(bird) influenza (flu) virus. Influenza (flu) is a respiratory infection in
mammals and birds. The virus is divided into three main types (Influenza A,
Influenza B, and Influenza C), which are distinguished by differences in two
major internal proteins (hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA)). The
influenza viral neuraminidase (NA) protein is a tetramer with an enzyme active
site on the head of each monomer. Subtypes are further divided into strains;
each genetically distinct virus isolate is usually considered to be a separate
strain. NA protein is a second major surface antigen of the virion.
Neuraminidase (NA) cleaves terminal sialic acid from glycoproteins or
glycolipids. Thus, it functions to free virus particles from host cell
receptors, to permit progeny virions to escape from the cell in which they
arose, and so facilitate virus spread.

system. The notation HhNn is used to refer to the subtype comprising the hth
discovered Hemagglutinin (HA) protein and the nth discovered neuraminidase (NA)
protein. The influenza viral Hemagglutinin (HA) protein is a homo trimer with a
receptor binding pocket on the globular head of each monomer.





The influenza virus
Hemagglutinin (HA) protein is translated in cells as a single protein, HA0, or
hemagglutinin precursor protein. For viral activation, hemagglutinin precursor
protein (HA0) must be cleaved by a trypsin-like serine endoprotease at a
specific site, normally coded for by a single basic amino acid (usually
arginine) between the HA1 and HA2 domains of the protein. After cleavage, the
two disulfide-bonded protein domains produce the mature form of the protein
subunits as a prerequisite for the conformational change necessary for fusion
and hence viral infectivity.

eight pieces of RNA, encoding for 11 proteins: Hemagglutinin (HA),
Neuraminidase (NA), Nucleoprotein (NP), M1, M2, NS1, NS2 (NEP), PA, PB1, PB1-F2
and PB2.





Influenza A virus nucleoprotein
(NP) forms homo-oligomers and multiple copies of NP wrap around genomic RNA,
along with a trimeric polymerase making up ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complex.
Nucleoprotein (NP) is composed of a head and a body domain and a tail loop /
linker region. The head domain is more conserved than the body domain. Nucleoprotein
(NP) oligomerization is mediated by the insertion of the non-polymorphic and
structurally conserved tail loop of one NP molecule to a groove of another NP.
The different form of Nucleoprotein (NP) oligomers is due to the flexibility of
the polymorphic linkers that join the tail loop to the rest of the protein. The
RNA binding property of NP is known to involve the protruding element and the
flexible basic loop between the head and body domains, both having high degree
of primary sequence conservation.

Influenza (flu)
is a respiratory infection in mammals and birds. This virus is divided into
three main types (A, B and C). Influenza A is found in a wide variety of bird
and mammal species and is further divided into subtypes based on differences in
the membrane proteins hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA).

H6N1 is a subtype of Influenza A. Hemagglutinin (HA) is a single-pass type
I  integral membrane glycoprotein from the influenza virus, and comprises
over 80% of the envelope proteins present in the virus particle. The HA is a
trimer with a receptor binding pocket on the globular head of each monomer. In
natural infection, inactive HA is matured into HA1 and HA2 outside the cell by
one or more trypsin-like, arginine-specific endoprotease secreted by the
bronchial epithelial cells. Binding of HA to sialic acid-containing receptors
on the surface of its target cell brings about the attachment of the virus
particle to the cell and forms a endosome. Low pH in endosomes induce an
irreversible conformational change in HA2, releasing the hydrophobic portion
“fusion peptide”. After which, virus penetrates the cell and pours its contents
including the RNA genome into the cytoplasm mediated by fusion of the
endocytosed virus particle’s own membrane and the endosomal membrane.
Hemagglutinin plays a major role in the determination of host range restriction
and virulence.

Protein Description





Influenza (flu) is a respiratory infection in
mammals and birds. This virus is divided into three main types (A, B and C).
Influenza A is found in a wide variety of bird and mammal species and is
further divided into subtypes based on differences in the membrane proteins
hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA). Influenza A virus subtype H5N1, also
known as "bird flu", A(H5N1) or simply H5N1, is a subtype of the
Influenza A virus which can cause illness in humans and many other animal
species. H5N1 is easily transmissible between birds facilitating a potential
global spread of H5N1. It is mainly spread by domestic poultry, both through
the movements of infected birds and poultry products and through the use of
infected poultry manure as fertilizer or feed. Humans with H5N1 have typically
caught it from chickens, which were in turn infected by other poultry or waterfowl.





Hemagglutinin (HA) is a single-pass type I
integral membrane glycoprotein from the influenza virus, and comprises over 80%
of the envelope proteins present in the virus particle. The HA is a trimer with
a receptor binding pocket on the globular head of each monomer. In natural
infection, inactive HA is matured into HA1 and HA2 outside the cell by one or
more trypsin-like, arginine-specific endoprotease secreted by the bronchial
epithelial cells. Binding of HA to sialic acid-containing receptors on the
surface of its target cell brings about the attachment of the virus particle to
the cell and forms a endosome. Low pH in endosomes induce an irreversible
conformational change in HA2, releasing the hydrophobic portion “fusion
peptide”. After which, virus penetrates the cell and pours its contents
including the RNA genome into the cytoplasm mediated by fusion of the
endocytosed virus particle’s own membrane and the endosomal membrane.
Hemagglutinin plays a major role in the determination of host range restriction
and virulence.

Human enterovirus 71
genome polyprotein is a member of the picornaviruses polyprotein family. It
contains two peptidase C3 domains, one RdRp catalytic domain,
one SF3 helicase domain. Genome polyprotein is cleaved into the following
12 chains: Protein VP0 (VP4-VP2), Protein VP4 (P 1A ), Protein VP2 (P1B), Protein VP3 (P 1C ), Protein VP1 (P1D), Picornain 2A (P 2A ), Protein 2B (P2B), Protein 2C (P 2C ), Protein 3A
(P 3A ), Protein 3B (P3B),
Picornain 3C (Protease 3C ) and RNA-directed RNA polymerase 3D-POL
(P3D-POL). VP0 precursor is a component of immature procapsids. Capsid proteins
VP1, VP2, VP3 and VP4 form a closed capsid enclosing the viral positive strand
RNA genome. VP4 lies on the inner surface of the protein shell formed by VP1,
VP2 and VP3. All the three latter proteins contain a beta-sheet structure
called beta-barrel jelly roll. Together they form an icosahedral capsid
composed of 60 copies of each VP1, VP2, and VP3, with a diameter of
approximately 300 Angstroms. VP1 is situated at the 12 fivefold axes, whereas
VP2 and VP3 are located at the quasi-sixfold axes.

small fraction of all influenza-like illness and a small fraction of all
seasonal influenza. H1N1 strains caused a few percent of all human flu
infections in 2004-2005. Other strains of H1N1 are endemic in pigs (swine
influenza) and in birds (avian influenza). H1N1 was the most common cause of
human influenza (flu) in 2009. In June 2009, the World Health Organization
declared the new strain of swine-origin H1N1 as a pandemic. This strain is
often called swine flu by the public media. This novel virus spread worldwide
and had caused about 17,000 deaths by the start of 2010.
