research grade origin fetal bovine serum is an economical alternative to more
stringently purified serums. It contains a maximum endotoxin level of 20EU/ml
and a maximum hemoglobin level of 30mg/dl. This product is best suited for
routine cell culture work.

Sterility

This USP
sterility tested product has been triple 0.1µm filtered. It has been screened
for mycoplasma and viruses, and is certified to be free of bovine diarrhea
virus, cytopathogenic agents, and hemoadsorbing agents.

Storage

This
product is stored at -20°C ,
with a shelf life is 60 months. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided
by making aliquots upon first thawing. Like most serum products, turbidity
may occur upon thawing. This does not affect the performance of this product.

dialyzed fetal bovine serum is a highly purified serum designed for the
investigation of alternative biochemical pathways. The levels of small
molecules such as amino acids and nucleosides have been minimized using a
dia-filtration process. This product contains a maximum endotoxin level of
10EU/ml and a maximum hemoglobin level of 20mg/dl.

Sterility

This USP
sterility tested product has been dialyzed using a 10,000MW cutoff filter
against normal saline. The concentrations of hypoxanthine and thymidine have
been reduced below detectable levels. The level of glucose, which is
indicative of the extent of small molecule removal, has a maximum of 5mg/dl.
This product has also been screened for mycoplasma and viruses, and it is
certified to be free of bluetongue virus, bovine adenovirus, bovine
parvovirus, bovine respiratory syncytial virus, bovine diarrhea virus, rabies
virus, reovirus, cytopathogenic agents, and hemoadsorbing agents.
