CheKine™ Total Cholesterol (TC) Colorimetric Assay Kit

該試劑盒提供了一種簡單的方法來檢測各種生物樣品（例如血清，血漿，組織，細胞和細菌）中的總膽固醇(Total Cholesterol, TC)濃度。在測定中，酯酶催化膽固醇酯(cholesterol esters)的水解，生成游離膽固醇（free cholesterol , FC）和游離脂肪酸（free fatty acids , FFA）。然後膽固醇氧化酶(Cholesterol oxidase)催化游離膽固醇（free cholesterol , FC）產生△4-膽固醇(△4-cholestenone)和過氧化氫(H2O2)。另外，過氧化物酶(peroxidase)可以催化H 2 O 2，4-氨基安替比林(4-aminoantipyrine)和苯酚(phenol)，形成在500nm處具有特徵吸收峰的紅色醌化合物(red quinone compounds)。樣品中的總膽固醇(Total Cholesterol, TC)與獲得的信號成比例。
